General Viewer
This viewer is designed for 2D line plots, where the line and markers can be customized. Multiple line plots can be shown at once.
This tutorial assumes that you already selected a project and imported data. For more information please visit on Project and Import Data section.
User Interface Structure
Here we give a detailed description of all settings which you can define in this tab.
x axis signal & y axis signal
Specify which data you want to use for which axis. You can select one signal for the x-axis and multiple signals for the y-axis.
Select lineTypes
- automatic: will choose the default (solid)
- solid, dashed, dotted, dotdash, dashdot: dotdash & dashdot are dots/dashes or dashes/dots in alternating order
Select lineColors
- automatic: will choose the default (innoSEP orange)
- black, red, maroon, yellow, lime, green, aqua, black, navy, purple
Select markerTypes
- automatic: will choose the default (none)
- square, circle
Select markerColors
- automatic: will choose the default (innoSEP orange)
- black, red, maroon, yellow, lime, green, aqua, black, navy, purple
Filter
In all DataWrangling Tabs, you can select only a part of the data using a Filter. A more detailed description of Filters can be found here
Basic Usage
The data for the x-axis as well as for the y-axis has to be specified. The style/color of the line and marker can either be customized manually or automatically.
The usage of this viewer is straight-forward:
- Choose x axis signal and y axis signals
- Select the lineTypes and lineColors
- Select the markerTypes and markerColors
- Click the plus icon to create the plot and add it to your dashboard
